A CrossFit regimen is based on functional exercises performed at a high intensity with constantly varied formats. It is these specific elements that combine to produce superior cardio-respiratory fitness and core strength, and constitute the most effective rehabilitation from injury. The CrossFit philosophy identifies 10 General Physical Skills — cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy — and strives to develop these attributes in order to achieve an optimal fitness level.
CrossFit is for everyone. Because of the functional exercises on which CrossFit is built, it is naturally scaleable for people of all ages and fitness levels, regardless of experience. We simply adjust the load and intensity of the movements to suit the individual.
